WHY FDI BEGAN

CPR

Small mistakes during everyday injuries can quickly turn manageable situations into more serious emergencies. Using the wrong technique, delaying the correct response, or simply not knowing what to do can increase pain, worsen an injury, or create new complications. In many cases, the difference between a controlled situation and a dangerous one is not advanced medical equipment, but having the basic knowledge and confidence to respond correctly from the beginning.

Every day, millions of wounds, fractures, and head injuries happen. However, that is not the most dangerous part. The most vital and dangerous side is escalation due to people being uneducated about the topic of first aid and simple injury handling.

What is FDI?

We are a youth-led initiative dedicated to transforming communities into spaces where students and teachers feel confident, capable, and informed across a broad spectrum of health topics, from physical first aid to mental health awareness, fitness education, and chronic condition management. FDI mainly offers extremely valuable medical information targeted mainly at teens and young adults to spread essential knowledge and make the Jordanian community a safer space.

Why Does FDI Exist?

Many everyday injuries and health emergencies become more serious not because they are unavoidable, but because the people nearby do not know how to respond. FDI was created to help close this knowledge gap by making essential health education more accessible to young people. Our goal is to build a community that is more confident, informed, and prepared when it matters most.

What Does FDI Do?

FDI delivers practical health education through workshops, awareness campaigns, and collaborations with qualified professionals and trusted organizations. Our programs cover topics such as first aid, CPR, choking management, mental health awareness, fitness education, and other essential health skills, with a strong focus on creating engaging and valuable learning experiences for teenagers and young adults.
